(Spencer)– A compromise has apparently been reached by city officials in Spencer and the owner of a trailer court near the Clay County Fairgrounds that will allow residents to stay in their homes provided necessary repairs are made to electrical lines by Noon Monday.
The agreement was reached during a meeting of the trailer court’s owner, his attorney, and city officials Friday.
Meanwhile, city officials say deadlines are being set for other violations to be corrected.
The trailer court’s owner and residents meanwhile are looking for volunteers to help remove vacant trailers and clean up the area.
