Complaint Results In Arrest Of Lake Park Man On Pot & Alcohol Charges

(Spirit Lake)– A complaint has landed a Lake Park man in jail on drug and alcohol charges.

Spirit Lake police say they were called to a convenience store on the west side of town shortly before 9:30 p.m. Thursday after getting a report of a possible intoxicated driver.

Upon arriving police made contact with the driver, identified as 32-year-old Gram Johnston of Lake Park.

Following an investigation Johnston was placed under arrest for allegedly being intoxicated.

A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up a small amount of what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Johnston was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of operating while intoxicated…third offense…a class “D” felony; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication and interference with official acts…all simple misdemeanors.
