(Spencer)– A two-vehicle collision Friday at the intersection of Fourth Avenue southwest and 12th Street southwest in Spencer sent one person to the hospital.
Police say 20-year-old John Blake of Ruthven was pulling out from the intersection when he failed to see a southbound vehicle driven by 34-year-old Heather Frink of Spencer. The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Frink was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with possible injuries. No injuries were reported to Blake, who was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
3,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1996 Dodge Stratus driven by Blake; a 2000 Chrysler driven by Frink sustained an estimated 4,500-dollars in damage.
The collision took place shortly after 3:00 p.m. Friday.
