(Graettinger)– One person sustained a minor injury in a two-vehicle collision Friday at an intersection in Graettinger.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Richard Brewer of Graettinger was driving a 1987 Chevrolet westbound and Nicholas Thompson of Graettinger was driving a 1999 Ford southbound when the two collided. Both vehicles came to rest on the southwest corner of the intersection.
No injuries were reported to either Brewer or Thompson; a passenger in Thompson’s vehicle, Laura Kibodeaux of Graettinger, sustained a minor leg injury but declined immediate treatment.
Damage to the Chevrolet driven by Brewer was estimated at $4,000; the Ford driven by Thompson was totaled.
The collision took place around 11:30 a.m.
