February 06, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Harris)– A two-vehicle collision Monday south of Harris injured an Estherville man.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Blake Enderson of Estherville was driving a 2021 Rockport FedEx van westbound on County Road A-22 and 28-year-old Dylan Huisenga of South Sioux City, Nebraska was driving a 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 northbound on Wilson Avenue when the two collided in the intersection.

Enderson was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake for treatment of minor injuries. No injuries were reported to Huisenga, who was cited for failure to yield.

Damage to the FedEx van was estimated at $20,000 while the pickup sustained an estimated $40,000 in damage.

Deputies say there was heavy fog and poor visibility at the time of the collision, which took place around 8:45 am.

The Harris Fire Department and Ocheyedan ambulance assisted on the scene.
