(Rock Valley)– Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision Thursday near Rock Valley.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Timothy Lange of Doon was driving a 2020 Ford pickup pulling a flatbed trailer westbound on Highway 18 and had stopped for traffic before making a turn. Authorities say 49-year-old Debora Stashuk-Anderson of Sheldon was driving a 2010 Dodge westbound behind Lange when she collided with the rear of the trailer.
Stashuk-Anderson and a passenger in her vehicle were taken by ambulance to the Rock Valley hospital.
Stashuk-Anderson was cited for following too close.
Authorities say the collision remains under investigation.
