(Mountain Lake, Mn.)– A collision Sunday afternoon involving a car and a semi on Highway 60 near Mountain Lake sent one person to the hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol says 74-Richard Seydel of Windom was driving a 2003 Buick Eastbound and was turning into Mountain Lake when he collided with a westbound 2011 Freightliner semi driven by 21-year-old Jadon Schroepfer of Sleepy Eye. Seydel was taken to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Schroepfer. The collision took place a little after 2:00 pm.
The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Lake Police Department, Mountain Lake ambulance and the Mountain Lake Fire Department assisted on the scene, along with a towing service.
