(Spirit Lake)– A two-vehicle collision last Thursday at the corner of 22nd Street and Hill Avenue in Spirit Lake sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
Spirit Lake police say 25-year-old Samuel Svihl of Spirit Lake was pulling out from a stop sign on 22nd Street when he collided with a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Malinda Rees of Spirit Lake who was northbound on Hill Avenue.
Rees was taken by private vehicle to Lakes Regional Healthcare; no other injuries were reproted.
A 1999 Chevrolet Venture driven by Svihl sustained an estimated 500-dollars in damage; damage to a 2004 Dodge Stratus Rees was driving was estimated at two-thousand dollars.
The collision took place shortly before 2:00 p.m.
