(Spencer)– A weekend traffic stop at the intersection of 300th Street and Highway 18 in Clay county landed two Spencer residents in jail.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The driver, 30-year-old Annika Sorrenson of Spencer, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, 1st offense; speeding and failure to have a valid driver’s license.
A passenger, 32-year-old Santana Holcomb the 3rd of Spencer was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana. She was also booked into jail pending an initial court appearance.
