(Spencer)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a traffic stop back on June 2nd that landed two women in jail.
According to a press release, a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 4700 block of Highway 71 and upon approaching, could smell marijuana. It was then discovered one of the occupants, 27-year-old Carrey Ross of Ruthven, was allegedly in possession of cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle turned up additional marijuana.
Ross and another occupant, 25-year-old Kallie Molacek of Estherville, were arrested and booked into jail. Molacek was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana. Ross was charged with possession of a controlled substance…cocaine…second offense; possession of a controlled substance…oxycodone…second offense; possession of marijuana…second offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; interference with official acts, speeding, no insurance and failure to display registration.
