(Spencer)– A traffic stop Tuesday in Clay county resulted in the arrests of three women on drug charges. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy could smell marijuana after pulling over the vehicle. A search turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
26-year-old Ebonee Richard of Gulfport, Mississippi, 26-year-old Breeanna Clark of Colfax, Louisiana, and 21-year-old Artisha Wheaton of Heidelberg, Mississippi were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richard was also cited for speeding.
All three were released after posting cash or surety bonds of $1,000 each.
