Clay County Traffic Stop Results In Charges Against Ayrshire Man

(Spencer)– An Ayrshire man faces charges following a weekend traffic stop in Clay county.

A deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Michael Terveer of Ayrshire shortly before 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

A consent search of the vehicle turned up drug paraphernalia and pills believed to be prescription drugs.

Terveer was arrested for operating while intoxicated…first offense; possession of a controlled substance…second offense; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Terveer was booked into the Clay county jail without bond.
