Clay County Traffic Stop Results In Arrest Of Chicago Man

(Spencer)—A Chicago man faces drug charges stemming from a traffic stop around 1:30 yesterday (Thurs.) afternoon on Highway 71 in Clay county.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle for a moving violation and registration violations. Upon investigating the deputy discovered what’s alleged to be marijuana. 24-year-old Michael Achenbach was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Clay county jail.
