(Spencer)– Clay County Tourism has been awarded a $10,000 Iowa Tourism Grant. The program funds tourism-related marketing initiatives. 33 organizations throughout the state are sharing in nearly $300,000 in the grant funding, which requires a 25 percent cash match.
Clay County Tourism will use the funds for it’s “Destination Clay” project which will include professionally produced videos and photography highlighting Spencer and the natural aspects of Clay county.
