(Spencer)– A search warrant executed Thursday of last week on a residence at 719 East 7th Street in Spencer resulted in drug charges against five people.
Spencer police say a subsequent investigation in conjunction with the search resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Gabriel Ginger of Spencer on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver methamphetamine…a class “D” felony; possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; gathering where controlled substances are used…a class “D” felony; and interference with official acts.
29-year-old Gary Stinson of Spencer, 24-year-old Kristi Bradley of Estherville, 21-year-old Jakie Harrington of Spencer and 29-year-old Benjamin Schroeder of Hinton were each charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine and marijuana; and gathering where controlled substances are used.
Methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, along with items taken in a burglary in the Everly area were seized as a result of the search.
The case remains under investigation by the Spencer Police Department, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Clay County Attorney’s Office.
