Clay County Rollover Results In Minor Injuries (2)

November 22, 2014

(Ruthven)– A single-vehicle rollover Saturday in Clay county resulted in minor injuries to a Ruthven woman.

The Iowa State Patrol says 24-year-old Stacy Miller of Ruthven was southbound on County Road N-18 about a half mile south of the intersection with 400th Street when she was looking at her cat that was in the vehicle. Troopers say the vehicle then crossed the center line and dropped off the left shoulder. They say Miller then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll, coming to rest in the right ditch.

Miller sustained minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate treatment.

She was cited for failure to maintain control and operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.

Seven thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 2002 Dodge Durango she was driving.

The crash took place shortly before 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
