(Spencer)– A Milford man sustained minor injuries when he lost control of a his vehicle after swerving to avoid a deer.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Jonathan Donovan of Milford was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 in the 3100 mile of 270th Avenue in Clay county when the incident took place. After swerving, authorities say Donovan lost control of the pickup, which went into the west ditch, hit a field drive and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Donovan sustained minor bumps and bruises but didn’t seek immediate treatment.
$12,000 in damage was estimated to the pickup.
Authorities have just now released details into the mishap, which took place on October 29th.
