(Sioux Rapids)– Minor injuries were reported Saturday night when a pickup left a road and rolled in southern Clay county.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Cody Fassler was rounding a curve as he was traveling eastbound when he lost control on the icy road. The vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled once, coming to rest on its wheels.
A passenger, Felicia Dusing, was taken to the Buena Vista County Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake where she was treated for minor injuries. No injuries were reported to Fassler.
$3,000 in damage was estimated to a 1992 Chevrolet pickup Fassler was driving.
The crash took place around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
