(Spencer)– Clay county residents are urged to take advantage of a program to get rid of unused or expired medication. Clay County Sheriff Randy Krukow says residents will be able to drop off outdated or unused medications at four different drop-off sites around the county on Saturday, October 29th.
The drop-off site in Spencer will be the Walgreens store from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; the Royal Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; the Peterson Community Center from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and the Everly Fire Station from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Residents will also be able to drop off unused or expired medications at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office this coming Tuesday, October 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
