(Spencer)– The Clay County Long Term Recovery Group, or LTRG, says they’ll be bringing in an organization in February to assess unmet needs of flood affected families and individuals.
Megan Hanges, Volunteer and Logistics Coordinator for the LTRG, says World Renew Disaster Response Services will have walk-in assessment centers at two locations in Clay county February 10th through the February 14th and from February 17th through February 21st. One of the centers will be located at the Spencer Public Library while the other location hasn’t been determined yet.
In addition to identifying unmet needs of flood victims, Hanges says the assessments will also help the community generate grant funding and other resources.
