(Spencer)– A Clay County jail inmate faces an additional charge following an incident over the weekend in the jail.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Erik Heidebrink of Spencer was charged with criminal mischief in the 4th degree after he allegedly broke off a piece of PVC sewage pipe and put it under his mattress.
Authorities say the incident took place Saturday.
