(Spencer)– Clay county residents impacted by the June flood are urged to attend a special event tomorrow (Wed.) evening to obtain clarification on information and resources available to assist with recovery. It will be going on from 6:30 until 8:30 pm at the Clay County Regional Events Center.
A panel of community partners will be on hand to answer questions and provide updates. It will consist of Clay County Supervisor Allen Batschelet, Deputy Spencer City Manager Kevin Robinson, Brittany Spieker of Community Housing Initiatives, representatives of FEMA, Clay County Assessor Danika Welsch, Sheriffa Jones of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce, and a representative of Black Hills Energy.
Some representatives from the city of Spencer, Clay county, bankers, realtors and CPA’s will also be available for one-on-one conversations.
