(Spencer)– The application deadline for the Clay County Flood Recovery Grant program through the Spencer Chamber Foundation is quickly approaching. Residents and business owners in Clay county impacted by the June flood are encouraged to submit their applications before 4:00 pm Tuesday, October 15th.
The program is funded through donations to support flood recovery efforts. After October 15th, officials say the remaining flood recovery funds will shift toward supporting long-term recovery efforts and addressing additional needs as identified by the community and the long-term recovery group.
