(Spencer)– If you toured Grandpa’s Barn at this year’s Clay County Fair, chances are you saw a milking cow there that was looking for a name. Visitors were asked to help choose the name for the cow for a $50 cash prize from Max Yield Cooperative.
Cooperative officials say thousands of name suggestions were submitted with the winning one coming from Jennifer Rubendall of Lawton, Iowa. The winning name? It’s Mable the Milker.
Mable the Milker won’t be signing autographs but she will pose for pictures in Grandpa’s Barn at the 2012 Clay County Fair this coming September 8th through the 16th.
