(Spencer)– The cost of getting through the gate at this year’s Clay County Fair is going to remain the same as it has been the past couple of years. Fair General Manager and CEO Jason Brockshus…
“12 and under are always free; 13 to 18 are $12.00 admission at the gate, $9.00 still up until the Friday before the fair so if you know you’re coming, there’s still some big savings to be had there. Free admission to first responders on Wednesday, which is new this year, free admission to veterans and active military on Monday and seniors on Senior Day, Tuesday, will be $9.00.”
Other specially themed days at this year’s fair include FFA Day on Tuesday; Disability Awareness Day on Wednesday; Iowa Corn Day and Farmers Appreciation Day on Thursday; Iowa Music Day on Thursday; Iowa Dairy Day on Friday and Science Saturday on Saturday, September 13th.
The Clay County Fair powered by SMU gets underway this Saturday, September 6th and runs through Sunday, September 14th.
Be sure to join KUOO and our family of stations as we will once again be broadcasting this year from our studios at the Clay County Fair.
