Clay County Fair announces Rick Springfield, Air Supply

The Clay County Fair has announced that they have contracted two major musical acts to perform at the fair in September.

Fair officials say that both Air Supply and Rick Springfield have signed on to perform at the fair on the Grandstand Stage on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.

The Grammy award-winning Rick Springfield has sold over 19 million records, and skyrocketed to the top of the the charts with tunes like “Jessie’s Girl” in the 1980s. Most recently, Springfield released his best selling memoir and has a new documentary and studio album.

Air Supply also shot to the top of the charts in 1980s with hits that include “Lost in Love” and “All out of Love.”

Previously announced artists include Jeff Foxworthy at the Clay County Fair, which is slated for Sept 8-16, 2012 in Spencer.
