November 22, 2014

(Spencer)—The Clay County Fair has announced the lineup for one of its free entertainment stages at this year’s fair.

The groups Project Dynamite and Home Free will appear on the stage the opening days of this year’s fair, September 7th-9th. Project Dynamite is a duo specializing in comedy and tricks; Home Free is an a cappella group.

Comedic juggler Tuey and polka band Barefoot Becky will perform on the stage September 10th-12th.

The last weekend of the fair, September 13th-15th, will feature Terry DaVolt, a hypnotist, and Richie Lee and the Fabulous 50’s, featuring classic rock ‘n roll music.

Each act will perform three times daily on the stage.

Clay County Fair General Manager Jeremy Parsons says the Farmers Bank Stage is one part of the $120,000 in free entertainment that will be offered during this year’s fair.

“Bushels of Fun” is the theme for this year’s Clay County Fair, which will run from September 7th-15th.
