(Spencer) – The first major concert announcement has come for this year’s Clay County Fair, and it has kids and parents alike buzzing. Fair Director Phil Hurst broke the news Friday morning exclusively on KUOO’s Get Up & Go Show.
Big Time Rush will perform Saturday, September 17. The group currently has the No. 1 television show on Nickelodeon, and their self-titled album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboards Hot 200 Chart. Hurst says tickets packages for the show and the fair are being put together, and will be announced on KUOO at a later date. That will include a couple thousand tickets for standing-room-only directly in-front of the stage.
However, the announcement of the signing of the Clay County Fair’s first major act wasn’t the only news item. Hurst says the fair’s midway will be new, with Gold Star Amusement providing a majority of the rides. He did reiterate that the Crazy Mouse will be back, along with some new rides.
The Clay County Fair will run from September 10-September 18. For more information on entertainment and tickets, check out ClayCountyFair.com or the Clay County Fair’s Facebook page.
