(Peterson)– A woman escaped injury in a single vehicle crash Sunday evening at the intersection of Highway 10 and 492nd Street west of Peterson.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Amber Wetherell lost control of a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee causing the vehicle to go into the ditch. Authorities say Wetherell was attempting to get out of the ditch when the vehicle tipped, coming to rest on its roof.
Upon investigating it was determined Wetherell was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested for operating while intoxicated…1st offense and was booked into jail.
