(Spencer)– A single vehicle crash Friday in Clay county sent one person to the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office says 57-year-old Inga Hoffman of Milford was driving a 2021 Toyota Venza southbound in the 3200 mile of 340th Avenue when it left the snow and slush covered road while rounding a curve. The vehicle traveled into a nearby yard before coming to rest.
A passenger was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital for treatment of a possible back injury.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $15,000.
The crash took place around 1:20 pm.
