(Spencer)– A single-vehicle crash in Clay county Thursday evening injured a Webb man.
The Sheriff’s Office says 80-year-old Raymond Ball of Webb was driving a 2003 Buick when he traveled through the intersection of County Roads M27 and B61 and wound up in the north ditch.
A passerby discovered Ball standing by his vehicle and called 911.
The Peterson and Royal Ambulance and Fire Departments responded to the scene.
Ball was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital where he was treated for incapacitating injuries.
Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Authorities say it remains under investigation.
