(Sioux Rapids)– A two-vehicle collision this past Thursday at an uncontrolled intersection of two gravel roads in southern Clay county resulted in minor injuries.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Michael Behrens of Marathon was westbound when he came upon the intersection and collided with a northbound pickup driven by 36-year-old Jeremy Grow of Sioux Rapids.
Grow complained of minor pain and later went to Buena Vista County Hospital in Storm Lake to be checked over. No injuries were reported to Behrens.
A 2009 Pontiac Vibe driven by Behrens was totaled; a 1994 Ford Ranger pickup Grow was driving sustained what was termed as disabling damage.
