(Spencer)– The Clay County Convention and Visitors Bureau has been awarded $1,024 from the Western Iowa Tourism Region. A portion of the funding will allow the bureau’s director, Jiff Toft, to attend the Iowa Tourism Conference in Altoona.
The funds will also be used to print brochures promoting Clay county’s attractions and events.
A total of $22,000 was awarded by the Western Iowa Tourims Region for various tourism-related projects in its 36 county area.
