(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported Saturday in a motorcycle accident in Clay county. The Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Nicole Neiderhiser of Spencer was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson eastbound in the 2200 mile of 320th Street when she swerved to avoid being struck by what was described as a black Buick that was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane. The motorcycle went into a ditch and tipped onto its right-hand side.
Neiderhiser sustained minor injuries but apparently wasn’t taken to a hospital.
The driver of the car was described as a younger blonde-haired male. Anyone with additional information into the incident is being asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash took place shortly after 3:00 pm Saturday.
