The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public in an apparent hit and run incident which occurred on Sunday, Sept 2 at the intersection of 390th St. and 280th Ave.
Officials say a white Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 22 year old Nathan Glander of Spencer was attempting to pass an unknown white truck, when the truck attempted to turn west onto 390th St. and struck the vehicle driven by Glander, forcing him into the ditch. The driver of the white truck left the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 712-262-3221.
The damage to Glander’s vehicle was estimated at $2500. The incident remains under investigation.
