(Spencer)– Authorities in Clay county are investigating a collision that took place a little before 5:00 pm Tuesday in the 2500 mile of Highway 18.
The Sheriff’s Office says 39-year-old Mckenzie Liechti of Milford was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound. Deputies say a truck described as a new black Ford 150 was westbound and lost control on a bridge ahead of Liechti. Liechti swerved to avoid hitting the truck and the bridge. Authorities say the pickup continued westbound and wasn’t located.
No injuries were reported.
Damage to Liechti’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
