(Spencer)—A complaint of an underage drinking party early Sunday in Clay county resulted in charges against two adults and six juveniles.
Upon investigating, Clay county deputies say they found several underage people had been consuming alcoholic beverages. 18-year-old Kyle Champine of Fostoria and 18-year-old Jacob Warburton of Milford were cited for underage alcohol consumption and released.
Authorities say two 17-year-old juvenile females from Dakota City, South Dakota, one 17-year-old female from Spirit Lake, a 17-year-old male from Spencer, a 17-year-old male from Arnolds Park and a 17-year-old male from Milford were cited into juvenile court for underage alcohol possession and were released to parents or guardians.
