(Spencer)– A traffic stop back on June 3rd in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old female juvenile. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it happened a little before 2:00 pm on Highway 10, about a half mile west of Highway 71. A deputy reported smelling marijuana as he approached the vehicle. A search turned up marijuana, drug paraphernalia and vape products.
The juvenile was cited into magistrate court for violating conditions of a minors school license and minor in possession of tobacco. The juvenile was additionally charged in juvenile court with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released to her mother.
