(Jackson, Mn.)– The list of candidates for City Administrator in Jackson has been narrowed to three from 13 originally. The finalists were introduced to city staff and residents at a meet-and-greet Tuesday.
They include Sheri Platt, who worked 16 years in the private sector and healthcare industry as a manager and financial analyst. She is currently the City Administrator in Adrian. Mark Tingle is another finalist. He has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and an Executive MBA. Tingle worked in the private sector for 11 years at T Mobile Corporation in management positions and is pivoting back to the public sector. A third finalist, Shelly Oltmans, has eight years of experience in the private and public sectors through an Iowa State University Extension role and has experience in sustainable agriculture. She is currently Director of IEDA and Konneker Leadership Program Faculty in Organizational Leadership at Culver Stockton College.
Final one-on-one interviews are being held with each of the three finalists today (Wed.).
The city has been utilizing the services of a consulting firm in finding a replacement for Matt Skaret, who is moving on.
