Anderson says there’s no doubt the construction of the new elementary school is spurring a lot of interest in that area…
The city council voted four to one Monday evening directing the city’s financial consultant to begin the process of amending an existing tax increment finance district that would help fund the $1 million lift station project.
Anderson says if things go accordingly, they’re hoping construction on the new lift station could get started sometime this coming summer. He says it likely would take about six months to complete.
