(Milford)– The city of Milford has a new Police Chief. The city council Monday evening voted to hire Shilo Brevik to the position. He was selected from a field of three finalists that were narrowed down following a series of interviews by city officials, school representatives and community members.
Brevik has an extensive background in law enforcement, having worked previously with police departments in Spirit Lake, Estherville and Spencer.
Mayor Steve Anderson administered the oath of office to Brevik at Monday’s meeting. His first day as the city’s top cop is December 5th.
