(Arnolds Park)– Now that Christmas is over you may be wondering how to dispose of that natural Christmas tree and greenery.
The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has once again established drop-off locations for those items with special trailers located at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park parking lot and the lot at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Spirit Lake. All lights, ornaments and other items need to be removed from the trees and greenery before being placed into the trailers.
The trees and greenery will be used for the annual “Burning of the Greens” for the upcoming University of Okoboji Winter Games.
