(Denison)– An author that has ties to the area has received special accolades for her latest children’s book.
Haley McAndrews of Denison, Iowa, has earned a five-star book review from Reader’s Favorite for her second children’s picture book, titled “Counting Toasters 1 to 10”. The book officially releases tomorrow (Tues. 1/10).
McAndrews’ first book, titled “If Only I Had”, was self-published in November 2020 and also earned a five-star book review from Reader’s Favorite.
McAndrews is the daughter of James Van Horn of St. Cloud, Minnesota and Carolyn Pohlman of Lakefield, Minnesota. She is a 2004 graduate of Jackson County Central. She is a 2006 graduate of Minnesota West Technical College and went on to attend St. Cloud State University where she graduated in 2009.
