(Rock Rapids)– A Rock Rapids man has been charged in connection with a rash of vandalism to 11 vehicles in Rock Rapids and the theft of a television from the Pizza Ranch in Rock Rapids.
Based on an investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Jared Gerloff of Rock Rapids was arrested Monday on one count of criminal mischief in the second degree…a class “D” felony; and one count of theft in the fourth degree…a serious misdemeanor.
Gerloff was booked into the Lyon county jail on a $5,000 bond.
Authorities say charges are pending against a second suspect in the case.
