November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– Charges have been filed against a Storm Lake man after a Clay county sheriff’s deputy clocked him going in excess of 100 miles-per-hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone.

19-year-old Dang Yang was cited for excessive speeding and reckless driving.

Yang was released from jail after posting a $300 cash bond.

A radar indicated Yang was going 113 miles-per-hour prior to the deputy pulling him over.

The incident took place around 4:00 a.m. Sunday on Highway 71 in Clay county.
