(Boyden)– Minor injuries were reported in a three-vehicle chain reaction collision Friday evening in a construction zone on Highway 18 a mile east of Boyden.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old James Fuhrman of Sheldon was driving a 2014 Kia westbound and had stopped waiting for a pilot car. A westbound 2014 Ford Explorer driven by a 16-year-old from Sheldon had stopped behind Fuhrman. A 2017 Ford Explorer driven by a 17-year-old from Paullina was also westbound and collided with the rear of the other Ford Explorer, pushing it into the vehicle driven by Fuhrman.
Minor injuries were reported but no one was taken to the hospital.
