(Sibley)– Minor injuries were reported Wednesday of this week when a driver lost control of a cement truck near Sibley.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 61-year-old Harold Johnson of Melvin was drivng a 2002 International cement truck westbound on Highway 9 approaching County Road L40 when he took the turn too fast. The vehicle rolled onto its left side, blocking the southbound lane of County Road L40.
Johnson was taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
The incident took place shortly before 3:30 p.m.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Sibley Fire Department.
