(Emmetsburg)– Minor injuries were reported Monday when a car collided with a bull in Palo Alto county.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Matthew West of Estherville was driving a 1992 Pontiac van eastbound on a county road when he collided with a bull that was standing on the road.
West was taken by ambulance to the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
$10,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle. There was no immediate word on the bull’s disposition.
The collision took place shortly before 6:00 a.m.
