(Everly)—A Spencer woman was injured Friday when a vehicle she was driving collided with a utility police.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Jenny Knox of Spencer was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Highway 18 when the vehicle went into the north ditch and collided with a large utility pole.
Knox was transported to Spencer Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
The crash took place shortly before 7:00 p.m. about a half mile west of Barb’s Corner on Highway 18.
The vehicle was totaled.
