(Paullina)– Two people were injured last Thursday when a vehicle they were in collided with a tree.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 65-year-old Carol Lowe of Sutherland was westbound on a county road when lost control on some snow and ice. The vehicle began to fish-tail as Lowe was attempting to correct. It went into the north ditch and collided with a tree.
Lowe and a passenger, 42-year-old Darin Lowe of Sutherland, were transported to the Primghar hospital by the Paullina ambulance with incapacitating injuries.
Authorities say the two were wearing seatbelts.
There was no information available on the make and model of the vehicle and a damage estimate.
The crash was reported to authorities around 3:20 p.m.
